Artist application guidelines
✧ Portfolios must include at least 3 examples of your work
✧ At least one Genshin related piece is greatly preferred
✧ Acceptable forms of portfolios include but are not limited to: Google Drive folder, Twitter moment, Instagram, Carrd, Artstation, etc.
✧ If you are applying for merch artist, please include examples/images of your previous merch
✧ Artists may apply for both merch and illustration positions
✧ NSFW examples are allowed as long they are properly tagged
Writer application guidelines
✧ Must include at least 2 excerpts of your work
✧ Excerpts should be 300 to 500 words long
✧ Links to full fics/Ao3/portfolios may be included

Mods

Head Mod Kura has experience in contributing to zines as well as modding zines. Most recently they were the writer's and finance mod for the Tiny Light zine. They will be organizing and managing the zine as well as shipping physical zines.

CN Communications Mod Jouicifer is a translator who will be responsible for translating info pages into Chinese. She will also be reaching out and communicating to CN creators who may be interested in contributing to the zine and managing the Lofter account.
Merch + Manu Mod Blue has experience in contributing to zines and was the Head Mod for the Tiny Light zine. She also has extensive experience manufacturing merch and runs an online store. Blue will be in charge of ordering and manufacturing merch and zines.

JP Communications Mod Rei has zine modding experience recently for a Galolio zine where they did translation work and lead communications. They will be in charge of the Discord server, communication with contributors, and JP translations.
Finance Mod Cheesy has professional experience as a lead financial advisor and will be handling our finances. She will be keeping track of all expenses and revenue and will be in charge of distributing profits among contributors.
Graphics Mod Azura is a professional graphic designer with three years of experience in the career field and will be creating graphics for our Twitter posts. She will also be designing and formatting the zine book.

Is this zine for-profit or non-profit?
This zine will be for profit! Each contributor will receive a cut of the profit earned from zine sales.

Is the zine physical or digital?
The zine will be both digital and physical.

Will there be international shipping?
Yes, international shipping will be available! Some restrictions may apply based on country.

Where are you shipping from? Will you allow group orders?
We are shipping from the United States. If you are interested in organizing a group order, please contact us through Twitter DM.

Will contributors get a copy?
Contributors are guaranteed a digital copy of the zine. We hope to provide every contributor a full bundle including all merch and the physical zine once certain goals are achieved.

What are the guidelines for contributors?
A full contributor guideline including illustration templates and all relevant information will be provided at a future date.

Will there be guest artists and guest writers?
Yes! We have a very exciting lineup of artists and writers to be revealed soon!

Is there a specific theme?
There is no specific theme so both canon works and AUs are welcome!

WIll the zine be sfw?
The overall rating should be pg13 and creators are free to ask about content if they are unsure.

Will people’s ships/content affect their chances of getting accepted?
Not at all. While the zine is sfw and will NOT allow problematic content, we will not reject applicants based on what they choose to ship/post on their personal accounts.

Do I need zine experience to apply?
No experience required! Our mods include experienced contributors and we will help you through every step with guidelines and templates.

What are the requirements for contributing artists?
Illustrations will be full color, CMYK color mode at 300dpi, with templates provided. Merch will be dependent on the type of merch with templates also provided.

What are the requirements for contribution writers?
PG13 overall rating, 2k-4k word count OR 1-2k word count.

How how many Artists and Writers will be accepted?
Currently, we are looking to accept 25 - 30 artists, and 8 - 10 writers. These numbers may change based on page number constraints and interest.

Will artists and writers be able to collaborate?
Yes! Artists and writers will have the option to collaborate with each other or to create solo pieces based on what they prefer.

How old do I need to be to apply?
Applicants must be at least 16 to apply. Minors require explicit parental permission to apply/contribute and must have permission to use PayPal to receive contributor cuts.

What language will the zine be in?
All fics for the zine will be in English!

Yes, this zine is Chili/Tartali exclusive!
